EDM for community and local development
We work with planners and project developers from all sectors – government, civil society, and business – at different scales, from individual projects to regional planning and in development and humanitarian settings. EDM has been used to design new projects, and to review and evaluate existing projects and programmes.
Community and individual projects
EDM has been used at individual project level in Indonesia, Kenya, the Niger Delta and Myanmar.
Working with local government in Kenya
In 2018, EDM was adapted for use at a more macro-level for county energy planning in Kenya, working with county government and other stakeholders.
EDM in humanitarian settings
EDM was used to successfully trained 50 staff from humanitarian organisations, in a pilot programme with the Global Platform for Action (GPA) for sustainable energy in displacement settings.
